Hornet Browser is provided as a simple ZIP file so anyone can install it without hassle. When you download it, you’ll get a small folder containing everything the browser needs to run - no installers, no background services, no hidden system changes.

To get started, click the Download button above and save the ZIP file somewhere easy to find, like your Desktop or Downloads folder. Once the download finishes, open the ZIP and extract the folder inside. Windows will usually give you an “Extract All” option; choose that so Hornet runs properly.

After extraction, open the Hornet Browser folder and double-click the HornetBrowserv1.exe file. The browser will launch immediately. There’s nothing else to install, nothing to configure unless you want to, and Hornet won’t add itself to your system or change your default browser unless you decide to do it manually.

If you’d like quick access, you can create a shortcut by right-clicking the executable and selecting create shortcut, you can then move this shortcut to your desktop. That’s it you’re ready to browse with a cleaner, faster, low-overhead browser designed to stay out of your way.

If Windows SmartScreen pops up, just choose “More Info” and “Run Anyway.” This happens to almost all new apps before Microsoft learns to recognise the developer. Hornet Browser is completely safe to run.
